You ever been down to the creek at night With the bullfrogs, gators and the blackflies Oh - you ought to see it You can see for miles in the moon light You can see just as far when you close your eyes Go on give it a try In the black creek water the beer is chillin’, Let the fireflies light your way To our hood in the backwoods Black skies, coyote eyes it’s all good Our own time, our own rules No one to tell us what to do in our hood In the backwoods We got country girls wearin’ cut off jeans, Sippin homemade wine, they’re all beauty queens Oh – have a look at that boys Slammin’ on flat top, settin the grove, Country rock mixed with dirty blues Let the fireflies light your way To our hood in the backwoods Black skies, coyote eyes it’s all good Our own time, our own rules No one to tell us what to do in our hood In the backwoods

Posse 02:59
Third grade bully. Had me flat on my back. Wind knock out. Still under attack. When outta nowhere came my three best buds. They threw his ass in the mud. Everybody needs a group of good ol boys They got your back if you need it and they bring the noise. You don't need to sound no sirens, send no flare in the air. When push comes to shove the boys will always be there. Have no fear, the posse's all here. Friday night. We were rocking the stage. Things got rowdy when the drummer took a beer in the face. He threw down, stood tall and said, "You mess with one, you're gonna get us all." Everybody needs a group of good ol boys. They got your back if you need it and they bring the noise. You don't need to sound no sirens, send no flare in the air. When push comes to shove the boys will always be there. We're gonna need another round of beers, the posse's all here. For those of you who stand on guard. We raise a glass with glowing hearts. Defend us from evil on land and send. So we remain strong and free. Everybody needs a group of good ol boys. They got your back if you need it and they bring the noise. You don't need to sound no sirens, send no flare in the air. When push comes to shove the boys will always be there. Everybody needs a group of good ol boys. They got your back if you need it and they bring the noise. You don't need to sound no sirens, send no flare in the air. When push comes to shove the boys will always be there. Kick it into high gear, the posse's all here.

Early in the evenin' just about supper time Over by the courthouse they're starting to unwind Four kids on the corner trying to bring you up Willy picks a tune out and he blows it on the harp Down on the corner Out in the street Willy and the Poor Boys are playin' Bring a nickel, tap your feet Rooster hits the washboard and people just got to smile Blinky thumps the gut bass and solos for a while Poor Boy twangs the rhythm out on his kalamazoo And Willy goes into a dance and doubles on kazoo Down on the corner Out in the street Willy and the Poor Boys are playin' Bring a nickel, tap your feet You don't need a penny just to hang around But if you've got a nickel, won't you lay your money down? Over on the corner there's a happy noise People come from all around to watch the magic boy Down on the corner Out in the street Willy and the Poor Boys are playin' Bring a nickel, tap your feet Down on the corner Out in the street Willy and the Poor Boys are playin' Bring a nickel, tap your feet Down on the corner Out in the street Willy and the Poor Boys are playin' Bring a nickel, tap your feet

Swamp Music 03:15
Going down to the swamp Gonna watch me a hound dog catch a 'coon Well, I'm going down to the swamp Gonna watch me a hound dog catch a 'coon And when the hound dog start barkin' Sounds like ol' son house singin' the blues Lord, fetch my cane pole mama Gonna catch a brim or maybe two Lord, fetch my cane pole mama Gonna catch a brim or maybe two And when the hound dog start barkin' Sounds like Charlie A'Court singin' the blues Hound dog sing that Swamp, swamp, swamp, swamp music Swamp, swamp, swamp, swamp music When the hound dog starts singin' I ain't got them big ol' city blues Well, hey pretty mama Lord, just take that city hike Said go ahead pretty mama Lord, just take your city hike Well, I'd rather live with the hound dogs For the rest of my natural born life That's right Singing that Swamp, swamp, swamp, swamp music Swamp, swamp, swamp, swamp music When the hound dog starts singin' I ain't got them big ol' city blues

In our high school ways We'd take off for days In your daddy's truck Full of rust Well our grades were dead last But we managed to pass I think they wanted just To get rid of us On that graduating day Well we'd celebrate The fact that we made it out alive You shook my hand and said, "good luck man." But never did we say goodbye. Instead we said I'll be seeing you around I'll be seeing you around He's a likeable loser Who leaves his lover In Leverkusen, Germany He said, "I gotta go. I gotta go somewhere I don't know. I'll call when I get there." She says, "Wait a minute boy, don't you forget it. The promise that you made back then." He said, "Yes it's true that I did love you, but my need to leave is stronger." I'll be seeing you around I'll be seeing you around I'm hitting the road There's nothing to slow me down When I leave this town Well the point of this story Is that I miss all the glory Back when I was young, wild and free. With no strings attached Lord, I gotta get back to when Life was where ever it tool me I'll be seeing you around I'll be seeing you around I'll be seeing you around I'll be seeing you around

From this mountain I see the valley floor We’re headed north down to the shore Let’s get lost down one of these dusty old side roads We can unload, don’t need a time clock anymore Salt in the night air, fire on the rocks Just need a couple lawn chairs, a little fishing from the dock Straight up living, hell bent and fancy free I guarantee this is how it’s meant to be Lay back for a little while, gonna party East Coast Style We got southern fried little western four wheel drive Underneath the northern lights it’s a good life We got cowboy soul and little bit of rock 'n’ roll Never growin’ old on these East Coast Country Side Roads In the cool blue light before the sunrise The day begins right before your eyes Ain’t too early for the alcohol Sweet cider, wine we can bring it all Tie it down it’s a rough-road ride Hittin’ mud holes just to say we did On the way back we’ll get the ones we missed Don’t look back the work week is dead and gone Thirty miles outside of town Set up camp, pass the bottle round These old side roads they ain’t never done us wrong The highway just ain’t right when a side road drive can take us all night We got southern fried little western four wheel drive Underneath the northern lights it’s a good life We got cowboy soul and little bit of rock 'n’ roll Never growin’ old on these East Coast Country Side Roads
